True Friends

For some reason, over the past couple weeks I have found myself in discussions on true friendship. I don't consider myself an expert on friendship... but I do know this:

1. True friends are honest, even when the truth is hard to hear. (And hopefully, they are gentle with the truth).

2. No one is a truer friend than Jesus. Our "human friends" should be the people who challenge us to grow to become more like Him.

Good friendship advice - like everything worth doing in this life - comes directly from the word of God. Anything else is a lie. Choose your friends wisely!
