We celebrate Christmas with the rest of the world. God doesn't care about the calendar -- He cares about the heart :)
My kids know that Christmas is the reason we can celebrate Easter. They know that Easter is the reason we have eternal life with God. Dates don't matter! Loving God does.
If you're referring to pagan holidays that involve trees, yes, I do.
Yet, celebrating with the right purpose, honoring God, is quite possible in the midst of tinsel and glitter.
You might have noticed by now, I don't tend to dwell on "minor" details. Not that they aren't important on some level. I just choose to focus on the point. The point of Christmas -- decorations, Santa Claus, the date, trees notwithstanding -- is to celebrate the birth of the Savior. It's the preamble to Easter, truly the greatest miracle.

Hi Karen.
You do know that Jesus was not really born on the 25th right?
I do know that. :)

Fair enough. Im surprised that you know that. Most Christians I know never knew that.
One more question. Do you know where Christmas comes from? Why its celebrated in December?
