Thanks to lots of wonderful, praying friends I am getting through it. Well. No tears. No anxieties or worries... though, I do obsessively check my son's twitter feed for glimpses into his collegiate world (he's being stingy with his posts!).
In honor of our life of change, I've created a "picture book" look into this season. Enjoy!
We've walked far together, our family of five...
But now it's time for him to look ahead to his own life...
So while it seems strange, we're still here...
a family of four...
Then he walks out the door...
To greet high school (and the sun)
She follows behind...
Two thumbs up for second grade!
Now it's just Daisy and me...
Left at home. Wondering...
Where did everybody go?

It's a strange feeling isn't it! I have 1 in college, a high school senior and a high school freshman, so I feel semi-emptinested!
oh! this made me tear up a little. it's bittersweet isn't it? my oldest starts high school this year and it's just so hard to wrap my brain around, it goes so, so fast.
What a sweet peek into your heart and home! Praying for you!
I love the feet pictures! I am going to have to do that! You made me choke up a little at the thought of the oldest off to college. My oldest is only in 8th grade but it all went so quickly.
It's kind of bittersweet. We spend all those years getting them grown up and once they do it's hard to let them go. My oldest turns 28 in October and my youngest turns 21 in January. The youngest is still living with me so I'm only partially emptinested but I know the day will come when he decides to move out. It goes by so fast!
I can't imagine what that's like. Soon I will though, when my eldest daughter leaves home...
Karen lots of changes for you! Blessings to all on their new adventures! Are you going to startr golfing??? :)

Leigh, HA! Golfing plus me equals disaster. I'm the lady who'd wrap the club around a tree!
Your puppy looks so lonely. The first day of school our little dog went around the house searching for the kids and whimpering...we we're both quite lonely. Congrats to your college boy!
