Happy Birthday to my childhood friend!

Happy Birthday, Tracy!

I can't believe we've known each other since we were seven - a very long time ago!

In honor of your birthday, I thought I'd ask... "Do you remember when?"

1. Our second grade teacher let us color life-sized whales and dolphins for the classroom? We went through lots and lots and lots of gray crayons!

2. When you got sick (my memory says you were in the hospital) and left your shoes at school? Some of the boys used them as a football and I got so mad that they were mean to your stuff!

3. Reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder series over and over and over again? I wonder which of us really read it through the most times.

4. What I got you for your birthday in second grade? Yes, I remember! :) I loved it so much I saved my allowance to buy one for myself. Silly! My mom said when you like a gift so much you want it yourself, you are really being a good friend. (It was that or you weren't getting it cuz I wouldn't give it away).

5. Choir practice at church on Saturday mornings? Every week!

I'm so glad our lives keep criss-crossing. Have a fantastic year! May your birthday be blessed with memories way beyond anything from childhood.
