"Click"

When I listen for God, I hear Him. Sometimes, His voice is loud and clear. Sometimes, He speaks in the softest whisper. When I don't listen for Him, I don't hear. To be more honest, I hear, but I ignore His voice. 

It's easy to ignore God. Of course, it leads to disaster which is not so easy... but the ignoring part. Piece. Of. Cake. 

Do not grow weary

Growing weary.... that's me.

Why?

To be honest, I don't know. That's the hardest part. I'm in one of those valleys that makes no sense. Nothing is wrong at home. I have three fabulous kids. I am blessed with a wonderful life. I read my Bible. I pray. I talk with God.

Though I can't figure out why I'm so tired, I know one thing to be true. GOD hasn't changed. He hasn't moved. He hasn't stopped. Just because I'm struggling right now, doesn't mean life is falling apart. Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Today, I choose to remember. God has not changed -- and He never will. He has everything in my life under control and I don't need to -- that's faith. This funk will pass as long as I don't give up.
